II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings):
Our visit to iPhitech IT and
Digital Solution Incorporation and its sister company iFiTech in DAU Pampanga
was guided by the HR Director, Ms. Lear Dacay, and Mr. Mark Madalipay,
providing us with invaluable insights into industry practices, technological
advancements, and career opportunities within the IT sector. Their guidance
allowed us to observe firsthand the application of theoretical knowledge in a
real-world setting, fostering connections and inspiring us to stay updated with
the latest trends. This experience, facilitated by Ms. Dacay and Mr. Madalipay,
not only deepened our understanding of the industry but also fueled our passion
for pursuing careers in technology.
III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input
on a practical level (practical application of learning):
The insights gathered during
the visit hold significant relevance for both our academic pursuits and
professional endeavors. Mr. Yalung's advocacy for ongoing learning and
fostering a mindset of growth has motivated us to actively seek out avenues for
skill enhancement. Likewise, Mr. Madalipay's emphasis on the value of
internships has spurred us to actively pursue hands-on experiences that
resonate with our career aspirations.
Gaining insights into the
company's organizational framework and core values has provided us with a
practical grasp of the requisites for success in the industry. This visit has
further strengthened our commitment to continuous learning and instilled in us
a resolve to approach our careers with innovation and adaptability at the forefront.
IV.Positive feedback (on the event organization):
The event was well-organized, and the warm welcome from Ms. Dacanay
set a positive tone for the entire visit. The structured tour of the
satellite office and the engaging discussions with the company representatives
created a conducive environment for learning. The visit to iFiTech added
another layer to our understanding of the industry. And the interactive sessions facilitated meaningful
connections with industry professionals.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities:
While I
thoroughly enjoyed and gained valuable insights from the company visits, I find
myself without any specific suggestions for improvements at this time. The
experiences provided during these visits were enriching and well-organized,
offering ample opportunities for learning and engagement. I appreciate the
efforts put forth in facilitating these activities and look forward to
participating in similar opportunities in the future.
