Why New Generation of Web Developers is Obsessed with Becoming Webflow Specialists." Webflow Workshop for Senior High Students at Mabayuan National High School. This seminar took place on November 30, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, featuring our guest speaker, Mr. Auriel C. Gimeno, a Webflow Professional Partner and Co-founder of Konsisto Digital.

 

II.    Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

 

Being part of the event, both as an organizer and a listener, was incredible, especially with the students from Mabayuan Senior High School as our audience. Seeing their excitement about Webflow was truly inspiring. It was a lesson in meticulous planning and coordination, and our speaker left a lasting impression, showcasing the power of expertise. The event acted as a hub for these budding developers to connect, emphasizing the importance of community in this field. Plus, it reinforced the idea that in tech, learning is a lifelong journey. Hearing from the students also provided valuable insights into how we can make future events even better. Overall, it was an enlightening experience that highlighted the evolving nature of technology and the need for engaging, student-focused learning environments.

III.   Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

 

We're eager to adopt the speaker's techniques for our future seminars. Our team members can learn to bring energy and engagement, just like our speaker did. Encouraging interactive discussions, sharing relatable stories, and connecting with the audience on a personal level will be key. We'll also emphasize thorough preparation to ensure we're ready to deliver impactful sessions. These techniques will help us create seminars that resonate and inspire, much like the one we experienced..

 

IV.  Positive feedback (on the event organization)

 

The event went great successful, I helped set it up, and the students from Mabayuan Senior High School really got into it. They were so excited about Webflow it made all the planning totally worth it.

 

I speak at the event too, the students were very interested about the topic, asking lots of questions about Webflow. It was awesome to see them so interested.

 

Overall, setting up the event and talking at it felt awesome. It was all about sharing ideas and skills with eager learners.

  

V.    Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities

 

"For me, the improvements to consider for our future activities include allocating more time for hands-on exercises and incorporating icebreakers and games to capture the attention of the entire audience."

The online course I took Aimed at designers, developers, and other interested professionals, the course sought to provide a comprehensive understanding of UI/UX principles, tools, and techniques.
