RAITE Hackathon 2023 AI Nexus: Convergence of Technology and Human Ingenuity

I.      Details of the event/activity

 

The event that I attended is RAITE Hackathon 2023, AI Nexus: Convergence of Technology and Human Ingenuity, held at the AUF Sports and Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga. This event, co-hosted by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators - Central Luzon (PSITE-CL) and iPhiTech, the country's top AI firm, took place on October 20, 2023 from 8 am to 5 pm.  Many competitions happened in this event including Lip Sync Battles, Quiz Bee, Lanyard Design, E-Games(Mobile Legends) and etc.

 

 

II.    Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

 

The event emphasized the necessity of staying updated in the AI field to stay competitive. It showcased the power of collaboration, creativity, and passion in IT success. Importantly, it highlighted AI's role in enhancing human potential rather than replacing it. And this event give more opportunities for the students including me who wants to enhance their skills to have a better job in the near future.

III.   Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

 

The RAITE Hackathon 2023 show how crucial it is to keep learning and innovating in the tech world. I can put these lessons into action by urging to join tech competitions, motivating professionals to stay current with tech advancements, and encouraging the fusion of tech and human creativity to boost my capabilities. This event inspires both students and professionals to persist in learning and innovating in tech, harnessing its power for positive societal change.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organizers for their efforts in organizing the RAITE Hackathon 2023. The well-structured competitions, engaging activities, knowledgeable judges, and exciting giveaways made the event truly memorable. Looking forward to more events by iPhiTech and PSITE-CL.
