On May 24, 2024, I took an online course about Android Application Development on Great Learnings, a platform offering numerous free online courses. The course, aimed at developers and other interested professionals, provided a comprehensive understanding of Android app development principles, tools, and techniques.

 

         II. Reflections on the Webinar/Activity and Learnings:

The online Android Application Development course I took on Great Learnings offered a thorough overview of app development principles, tools, and techniques. I learned about the Android development environment, the importance of user-friendly interfaces, and the use of tools like Android Studio for coding and testing. The course emphasized practical application, including creating layouts, integrating APIs, and managing app lifecycles. This experience has enhanced my development skills, highlighted the importance of efficient coding practices, and underscored the need for continuous learning in technology. I suggest that Great Learnings offer a free online course certification that can be included on resumes. This would make the platform even more appealing to students and professionals looking to use Great Learnings as a stepping stone in their careers.
